This house is so cute & very clean! Any questions that came up, Carrie was quick to respond. I was very comfortable throughout my stay!

Overall, we had a good stay - the location was convenient, house was clean, bed was comfy, and the host was easy to communicate with. The house was fine - since it’s older it had some quirks. The bathroom was tight, hardly anywhere to put your stuff, the top light would flicker, and the shower pressure was weak. The bedrooms didn’t have any real storage so we just had to leave our suitcases open on the floor. Finally, there was a large HVAC/air vent grate in front of the hallway so we had to step over it/on it often - it was pretty annoying given it was in such a high traffic spot. Since we have a toddler and an older doggo, the grate was something we had to have them both constantly navigate around since neither of them liked walking directly over it. This may not bother everyone (didn’t see anyone else mention it in their review), but sharing as a heads up for others who may have similar issues.

Great space & exactly like it is described. Perfect location - easy to walk to a coffee shop and restaurants. We stayed with 2 dogs & it was great to have the *fenced in yard space*. The home is cute & cozy, the bathroom could use a little updating, but it is in an older historic home, so to be expected. Centrally located & lots of amenities left in the b&b such as extra towels, laundry detergent, trash bags etc. We enjoyed it & would recommend this listing.

Our stay was a great! The location balanced comfort and convenience. The space was clean and exactly as described, which made settling in easy. Comfortable beds, strong Wi-Fi, and a well stocked kitchen supported both rest and daily routines. The location was ideal, close to attractions yet quiet at night. Clear check in instructions and quick, friendly communication removed stress. Overall, it felt welcoming, reliable, and memorable, making it an excellent value and a place we would gladly choose again for future trips together.

Loved Carrie’s place — my first time in Chattanooga, and it couldn’t have been a better launch pad. There’s a great new spot, White Duck Taco, just a short walk away, and the neighborhood was quiet at night. If we'd brought our dog, he would have appreciated the fenced in backyard but maybe next time!

Charming place in up and coming neighborhood. Clean, comfortable and well furnished. Kitchen well stocked with needed utensils and servicing ware. Nice yard for our dog. Nice off street parking.

Great stay. Really close to restaurants and the zoo. We walked to a local coffee shop, park, and a taco restaurant. You could probably walk to the zoo if you wanted. 10-20 mins to downtown Chattanooga. Appreciated the quick communication and the description was accurate. Has everything you need to make a home cooked meal. Loved the fenced in yard for our daughter and dog. The community is older with some remolded houses that are nice and some that are more run down. It seemed safe but I wouldn’t walk around at night by myself. Only complaint is the house smelled like dogs as soon as we walked in, but it’s a dog friendly air bnb so it wasn’t out of the question. If you have a sensitive to animal smells or hair I probably wouldn’t suggest staying here.

Cancellation policy

This property follows Yellow Door Vacation Rentals’s standard cancellation policy.

Cancellation policy

1. Refundable Bookings
Cancellation Deadlines
• For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
• For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
• Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
After the deadline - Fair-Refund policy
• If you cancel after the deadline:
• Yellow Door Vacation Rentals will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
• The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or rebooking rate.
• Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
2. Non-refundable Bookings
• If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
3. Half-Now-Half-Later Bookings
• The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
• The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy.
4. Date Changes & Rebooking
• Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself.
• If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
5. Transfers to Another Guest
• You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge.
• Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email.
• The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
6. Policy Match Guarantee
• If a better price is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's site, contact the Concierge — Yellow Door Vacation Rentals will match it.
